Shape Guide

A mold is the shape your deck is pressed into: its concave, dips and kick angles. It determines how your deck feels under your fingers and how it flicks.

Finger comfort and functional shapes demand careful design and thorough testing. Every one of ours is designed and 3D printed in-house with a focus on detail and stiffness. We know our shapes inside out, allowing us to make small tweaks and keep improving them based on theory and experience.

Below you can compare each mold's side profile, cross-section and kick angles. Pair any of them with a template.

Our OG mold, Pxl#1, the first iteration in our mold design journey. For months we learned, failed, and tried again until we arrived at a shape that is elegant, well defined, and undoubtedly pleasurable to ride. A mold with medium-high kicks and a medium-low concave. The nose is slightly higher than the tail, and both kicks have a slight concave that makes flicking easier.

With a medium concave that deepens toward the nose and softly curved dips, the pxl7 mold is intentionally asymmetric. Medium kicks and medium-high concave. Enjoy a pronounced concave in the kicks, especially at the nose, to make flicking easier when popping tricks.

Low kicks and soft dips. A shallow concave. PXL7 Oldschool is a remake of PXL7 with low kicks and low concave, for the flatter feel of an old-school deck. The tail kick is steeper than the nose, reversing what you'd usually expect on a modern deck. Maximize your control and test your skills with this low mold.

Our most anticipated mold, the TT1 is a symmetric mold with medium-low kicks and a medium concave. Paired with a twin-tail template, it becomes a fully symmetric board, yet it works perfectly with any other template. Defined dips for a responsive pop, and low kicks that provide control.
